L1.What is the missing shape?

L2. Three friends have just eaten at a restaurant. The waiter says the bill is $30, so each pays $10. Later the wiater realizes the bill should only be $25 so he returns them $5. Because they can’t split it evenly they tell him to give them each $1 and keep $2 for himself. Now that each of the guests has been given $1 back, each has paid $9, bringing the total paid to $27. The waiter has $2. What happened to the remaining $1?

A: You’re just trying to get me to always fit within your timetable.
B: Would you have preferred me to cancel our dinner, if I knew I was going to be late?
A: Have you ever loved someone, but still been late?
B: An accusation like that makes it sound like you don’t love me.
A: How did you come to that conclusion? Has someone accused you of something similar in the past?
B: I’m guessing that it’s not so much that I’m late, but you’re concerned about me not focusing on the little things in our relationship.
A: Where did you learn that being on time equates to love?
B: Most people are late for meetings every day … are you saying that none of them care?
A: Isn’t it more important that I actually made the effort to get here, in spite of everything that happened along the way?
B: What about all the times I have been on time?
A: You’re judging an entire relationship based on time-keeping?
B: Isn’t that like saying if you don’t cook for me every time, you don’t love me?
A: You’re saying a small delay defines an entire relationship?

L10. A woman was horrified to find a fly in her tea. The waiter took her cup and went into the kitchen and returned with a fresh cup of tea. She shouted, “You brought me the same tea!” How did she know?

L11. Brothers and sisters have I none, but this mans father is my fathers son. Who is he?

L12. There are two doors, one door leads to freedom and one to inprisonment. But each has a guard. One always lies and one always tells the truth. If you can ask only one guard one question how can you find the door to freedom?
