From the earliest cave paintings to the geometry of the primitive settlements to our comptemporary use of materials, we have evolved and transformed the space in which we live by mirroring through visual representation the understanding we have gained through mathematics and science. Here I pay tribute to the great architects, the buildings and structures they have imagined, generated and created that leave us with a sense of awe.
