What on earth is a quantum computer you may ask? It used to be science fiction but now it is a very active and scientifically-important area of research. A quantum computer, instead of operating on bits (ones or zeros), instead operates on quantum bits or qubits (ones, zeros and a quantum superposition of the ones and zeros). That is, it takes advantage of quantum-mechanical phenomena including superposition and entanglement to perform operations on data. It is a true fuzzy logic machine. The first qubit quantum logic gates have already been successfully engineered with chips now containing up to 128 such quantum logic gates now in production.
